Ink, Watercolor, and Ink Jet – Jillian Holladay
This painting was donated to the City of Pinellas Park for their permanent art collection in December of 2025 under the auspices of the Pinellas Park Art Society.
Petey is a snowy egret encountered on a dock on Vina del Mar. Petey posed for me in a most enchanting way and the photos I took that day became the inspiration for many of my paintings and sketches. There are several paintings of Petey like this in various mediums, but none are exactly the same.
Jillian Holladay started her artistic journey in Pinellas Park in 2022. She is a member of the Pinellas Park Art Society, and her work can be seen in many galleries and exhibitions in Pinellas County. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast of Florida and its wonderful coastal critters.
