The Pinellas Park Art Society has exhibition space in the first floor hallways of the Pinellas Park City Hall. I have three paintings in the current exhibit cycle. The exhibition changes every three months and all works are for sale.
PPAS is a non-profit organization serving Pinellas County, FL since 1964. They support visual fine arts through classes, seminars, demonstrations, monthly art shows exhibits, off site exhibits, general meetings, open studio and community outreach. The media we teach include drawing in pencil, pastels, colored pencil, painting in watercolor, oil, and acrylic. They are open to many forms of visual fine art, and encourage new types of visual art.
My three paintings in the current exhibit are the aptly named “Blue Crab #2”, “Into the Mystic” (a sea Turtle off on a journey), and “Just Hanging Out” (a sea horse doing just that). All three are mixed media – a combination of ink stippling and watercolor, there may be a drop or two of acrylic here and there as well. All three paintings have a framed size of approximately 16×20 inches.
These three paintings are representative of my love of aquatic animals. Sometimes they are graceful, sometimes they are comical, and sometimes their shapes just fascinate me. They all can move through their world in three dimensions. Whereas we terrestrial creatures can only move about on the earth in two dimensions without technology such as scuba gear or airplanes.

If you would like to purchase any of these paintings, use the contact information below. Be aware that the paintings must remain at City Hall for the duration of the exhibition (ends in October).
The Pinellas Park City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00. It is located at 5141 78th Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781
